METHOD 1
Using a sapphire micro-blade, small skin incisions are made on the area devoid of hair, into which the grafts will be introduced with micropippers, that is to say and more recently, with small tubes in which the grafts are previously arranged (dull implant).
This gesture can also be performed at the same time as the introduction of the graft using a specific instrument to implant sharp. These are small needles fitted with a central piston which allows the graft to be pushed once the needle has been planted in the scalp. In this case everything is done in one time.
The operator’s experience and dexterity are decisive for the density and direction of the grafts to be performed correctly.
This method initially described by a Korean doctor, Doctor CHOI in the 90s, is carried out by many teams around the world: it is our favorite technique because it reduces the manipulation of grafts and allows to reduce the risk of lesions during this one. It also makes it possible to tighten the grafts and to obtain a better density per cm / 2.
The experience of the whole team largely determines the success of the transplant.
Sometimes (10% of cases) edema occurs on the eyes around 3 ° or 4 ° J postoperatively, it is not serious and it disappears spontaneously within 48 hours.
